Homologation of cards and readers

SINPE’s Certifying Authority (CA SINPE - Private Individual) maintains a permanently open process for homologation of cryptographic devices (smart cards).

All those interested in homologating such devices should submit a written request to the Banco Central de Costa Rica’s Payment Systems Division, providing the devices, documentation and other requirements established in the Digital Signature Private Individual Standard.

Precisión: la tasa de falsa aceptación (FAR) se puede configurar hasta 10-8, según los requisitos de seguridad, y se mantiene independientemente del número de usuarios en la base de datos.

Control automático de la calidad de la imagen durante la captura de la huella. Base de datos interna considerable: Capacidad estándar de 500 usuarios con 2 huellas cada uno, ampliable a 3.000 o 5.000 adicionando licencias al dispositivo.

Múltiples templates y formatos de imágenes:

• ISO 19794-2, ANSI/INCITS 378 y templates propietarios.

• ISO 19794-4, imágenes comprimidas WSQ.

Se requiere que el lector cuente con las licencias MSO_WSQ y VERIF como parte del firmware del lector.
