Process for issuing legal person certificates
The application process for these certificates must be completed on the Central Directo website [BCCR’s financial services portal; in Spanish]. To launch the process, the legal person must complete the following steps:
1. Registration in Central Directo: This process must be completed by the legal representative of the legal person, as explained (in Spanish) in the Service Roles section. Please find more details about the registration process in the Online Assistance section.
2. Appointment of Technical Assistants: Certificate management is a process that requires technical knowledge. Therefore, it is recommended to appoint staff members from the Information Technology area to address the requests. Details on the Technical Assistant role are described (in Spanish) in the Service Roles section. The appointment process is explained in detail in the Online Assistance section.
3. Certificate Issuance Request: This process must be carried out by the Technical Assistant. There are two issuance processes, depending on the type of certificate.
a. Seal with Custody: The issuance process for this certificate is explained in detail (in Spanish) in the Online Assistance section.
b. Agent and Seal without Custody: The process is explained in detail (in Spanish) in the Online Assistance section. To follow the described procedure, you must read and apply the specific certificate generation guideline for the relevant operating system:
4. Acknowledgment of a
Person with Authority to Sign the Subscriber Agreement, as explained (in Spanish) in the
Service Roles section.
5. Signature of the Subscriber Agreement: This may only be carried out by the Person with Authority to Sign the Subscriber Agreement.
6. Certificate Download: This process is carried out by the Technical Assistant. The procedure is explained in detail (in Spanish) in the Online Assistance section.
