GAUDI mobile: Privacy policy
The Central Bank of Costa Rica, as the controller of the data required by the GAUDI Mobile app, recognizes the importance of customer privacy and therefore presents its privacy policy.
The data obtained from the mobile device are as follows:
• Brand.
• Model.
• Operating system name and version.
• Device name.
The data required from the user requesting the app are the following:
•Type of identification: National ID, foreign person ID (DIMEX), diplomatic officials’ IDs (DIDI).
• Identification number.
The system requires access to the camera to scan a QR code displayed on the Central Directo platform, a step necessary to complete the mobile registration process and enable the use of the app’s functionalities.
The application will not have access to:
• IP address.
• Users’ email accounts.
• Geographical location.
• Contacts.
• Photos, files, or other data available on the mobile device.
All the requested information is solely intended to associate the user with the application, keeping the highest level of security possible during use.
This privacy policy is subject to change; therefore, periodic review is recommended.
