​​Digital certificate for Legal Entities


A digital certificate is an electronic document that contains the identity and personal information of a subscriber. It is created and digitally signed by a legal entity that provides the service of creation, issuance and operation of digital certificates, known as a Certification Authority.

Legal Person certificates are issued within the National Digital Certification System supported by Law 8454 by the certifying authority CA SINPE – LEGAL PERSON, formally registered with the Digital Governance Directorate (DGD).

Digital certificates implement the Certificate Policy for the National Hierarchy of Registered Certifiers, approved by the Digital Governance Directorate of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Telecommunications.
